Choose the account that owns the records
- Open the published PETICO.app listing while signed into ChatGPT. Install or select the integration.
- When you want saved history, connect the PETICO.app owner account used in the original app. Review the permission screen in ChatGPT.
- Ask for the pets available in that account. Choose the intended pet before requesting observations or a comparison.
Pet-list prompt
Use my connected PETICO.app account to list my available pets. Let me choose one before reading its supported observations.
Read a measured change from saved history
Replace [pet name] and the dates below with your own. Ask for the dates used and any gaps. A connected answer depends on the records actually available in the selected account.
Saved drinking prompt
For [pet name] in my selected PETICO.app account, compare saved drinking observations from October 1–7, 2026 with October 8–14, 2026. Show the dates you used, separate measured and estimated amounts, and explain gaps.
Which account does what?
| Account or label | What it controls |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT login | Your ChatGPT session and app features. |
| PETICO.app owner account | The pets and supported saved records you can authorize. |
| Connected-account label | How the connection is displayed. Renaming the label does not change record ownership. |
If you see no pets
Check the account you used in the original app. A second account can correctly return an empty list. If the host offers more than one connection, select the intended one and ask for the pet list again. You do not need to create duplicate profiles.
For records with suitable earlier observations, see how a personal drinking reference works. Troubleshoot account selection or compare notes without connecting.
